He likes to think he's a model. Although he does model for me a lot so that counts right?
These are some of my favorites from then, with just a little bit of touching up that I hadn't learned how to do back then.
It's always encouraging to look back at your own work. Even just from 3 years ago and a not very successful attempt at a business, I have grown and improved.
I have learned how to get away from auto mode, and how to shoot RAW instead of JPEG. Which some people probably see as simple but no matter what, it is an accomplishment for me.
I have always read that the only person you should compare yourself too is the person you used to be. I believe I have become a much better photographer than I was then. I still have a lot to learn, and I learn new things everyday.
It's exciting and scary all at once. To try again at something you failed at before. It can be discouraging at times. But then I take a look back at times like this, and I am reminded that I have grown and improved and can only keep going up!
So like this says If your dreams don't scare you, They're not big enough! Get those dreams big and get a little scared. You are the only person who can accomplish your dreams. So get out there and start something new!
